Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lowell, MA

Your background in school-based speech therapy, coupled with your SLP-CCC credentials, will enable you to provide essential services and advocacy for adolescents as they develop critical language and communication skills. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong ability to develop IEPs and document student progress
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide diagnostic evaluations for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
• Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in IEP meetings
• Keep thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Adapt interventions to diverse learning styles and language needs
