School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lowell, Massachusetts

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing valuable speech-language pathology services in a school-based setting near Lowell, MA. This role is designed for passionate SLPs—including those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) who are eager to make a difference in a supportive educational environment.

In this position, you’ll work closely with a manageable caseload of 10 to 14 students, delivering 10 to 14 hours of direct intervention and dedicating 2 to 4 hours weekly to essential indirect services such as documentation, planning, and collaboration with educational teams. This structure ensures you have ample time for both meaningful student interaction and effective support work.

What we’re seeking:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid or eligible state SLP licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows
• Experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet K-12 student needs

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff in students’ progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
• Engage in indirect services, including planning, attending meetings, and progress reporting
