Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience in school-based or adolescent settings preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a high school caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment data to inform interventions
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to students, families, and staff
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
