Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings
- Competency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and monitoring student progress
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs and goals
- Deliver therapy sessions to students in both individual and small group settings
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology relevant to a school environment
