Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings
  • Competency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and monitoring student progress
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with school policies and state regulations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs and goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions to students in both individual and small group settings
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology relevant to a school environment
