Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
- Expertise in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families
- Driven to provide personalized interventions and evidence-based solutions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrative teams to tailor support
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Communicate effectively with families regarding intervention strategies and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
