Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working with students in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Experience or familiarity with ESY programs is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress as required by school and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote students’ communication development
- Support IEP goals and participate in relevant meetings or consultations as necessary
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment throughout the ESY program
