Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) in Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience working with students in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with ESY programs is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress as required by school and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to promote students’ communication development
  • Support IEP goals and participate in relevant meetings or consultations as necessary
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment throughout the ESY program
