Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure for Maryland
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Understanding of age-appropriate speech and language development
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team with teachers, support staff, and families
- Flexibility and compassion for working with diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support student goals
- Monitor progress and document results in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as required
- Adapt therapy resources and techniques to meet the varied needs of your caseload
