Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication needs in elementary-aged students
  • Proficient with IEP planning, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication strategies
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to support individual student growth
  • Develop therapy goals, deliver engaging sessions, and monitor progress throughout your assignment
  • Maintain clear documentation, attend IEP meetings, and offer expertise to help students achieve their fullest potential
