School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lynn, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
• Experience with adolescent/high school caseloads preferred
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to high schoolers
• Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication goals
• Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate student records
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication strategies
• Create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to reach their potential
