Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working in a school setting, ideally at the high school level
  • Strong understanding of adolescent communication disorders and intervention strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high school caseload, assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and provide data-driven reports
  • Communicate regularly with teachers and parents to ensure ongoing support and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development sessions
