Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible WA state SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience working with pediatric populations and within school settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy in-person and via teletherapy
- Keep detailed and confidential records of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to optimize outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, offer guidance on speech and language interventions
- Advocate for student needs and provide staff training or resources as needed
