As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC required), you’ll serve a supportive school-based community near Lynnwood, WA, working onsite to help students overcome communication challenges and reach their fullest potential. This dynamic contract role begins as a part-time position (0.5 FTE) until November, then transitions to full-time (1.0 FTE) from November 9th through April 26th. There may also be additional openings at the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Washington
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to foster student progress
  • Maintain comprehensive records, progress reports, and meet compliance deadlines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team efforts
  • Support students with a diverse range of speech and language disorders
