Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Macon, Georgia

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Georgia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and providing remote services desirable
• Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver targeted therapy services both onsite and via teletherapy to address a range of communication disorders
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Support IEP meetings and participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary team
• Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech-language development and interventions
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes
