Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and providing remote services desirable
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver targeted therapy services both onsite and via teletherapy to address a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support IEP meetings and participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary team
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech-language development and interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes
