Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in pursuit of CFY
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy tools and remote service delivery
- Ability to supervise or mentor SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants) highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, individualized intervention
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and measurable therapy goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy, both onsite and via teletherapy
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Provide guidance and supervision to SLPAs as needed
