Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in pursuit of CFY
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy tools and remote service delivery
  • Ability to supervise or mentor SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants) highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, individualized intervention

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5th grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and measurable therapy goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy, both onsite and via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
  • Provide guidance and supervision to SLPAs as needed
