Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligible
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Comfortable providing services for students in grades K–12
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K–12
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy and intervention tailored to varying student abilities
- Consult with teachers and parents to support carry-over of therapy objectives in the classroom and home environments
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and staff professional development activities as needed
