Speech and Language Pathologist - Mad River, CA

Make an impact in the lives of young learners as a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist in a diverse school setting. This is a full-time, in-person contract opportunity supporting students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. You’ll work closely with a supportive team and use your expertise to foster student growth in communication and language development.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California SLP license (current and in good standing)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Several years of school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a dynamic caseload spanning preK through 8th grade
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative approach, and creative problem-solving
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions for a varied student population
