Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist credential required
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is a must
- Demonstrated success with several years of school-based SLP experience
- Comfortable managing a caseload spanning pre-kindergarten through 8th grade
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Complete comprehensive assessments, write detailed reports, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to compliance with state and district policies
