Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication services for students on your caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation for progress and compliance purposes
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult on strategies to foster inclusive learning environments
- Deliver both direct and consultative services as outlined in student IEPs
