Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting
- State license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Alabama
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs, both individually and in group settings
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting and reporting assessment findings
- Develop tailored treatment plans and support student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and professional development sessions as needed
