Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting
• State license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Alabama
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs, both individually and in group settings
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting and reporting assessment findings
• Develop tailored treatment plans and support student progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to create supportive learning environments
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
