A school district in Madison, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students in low-incidence special education classrooms across multiple nearby school buildings. The district is looking for a long-term addition to its team and is ready to interview and extend an offer immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Caseload

  • Approximately 44 students
  • Primarily elementary students, with 3 students at the middle/high school level
  • Low-incidence special education classrooms
  • Services provided across 3-4 school sites located within one block of each other

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
