Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in taking on a contract assignment working in a school-based setting near Madison, MS. This role offers the chance to support students’ communication and language development, collaborating with educators and families to make a real difference in their educational experience.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs also considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Ability to conduct evaluations, implement therapy plans, and maintain detailed documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings as needed
  • Communicate progress with parents, teachers, and support staff to facilitate student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and ongoing professional development
