This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver speech therapy, perform evaluations, and provide crucial IEP support within a welcoming educational team for the 2026–2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware licensure/certification as a speech-language pathologist (required for consideration)
- Recent and relevant school-based SLP experience
- Background in completing evaluations and developing IEPs
- Strong skills in documentation, progress monitoring, and therapy note writing
- Working knowledge of school-based systems such as PowerSchool IEP and Data Service Center is a plus
- Reliable transportation for daily, on-site attendance
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct thorough evaluations in collaboration with school teams
- Create and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Accurately document sessions and monitor progress
- Participate actively in meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain open communication with colleagues and families to best support student progress
You’ll typically work Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours each week, supporting a caseload and grade levels to be determined. This is an ideal position for SLPs who thrive in collaborative, educational environments and who value contributing directly to student growth.
