Pediatric Speech Therapist in Manassas, VA

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Virginia state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure in Virginia
• Prior experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting, preferably in elementary schools
• Experience delivering therapy via teletherapy platforms is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students with varied speech and language needs
• Provide direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy as appropriate
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and necessary reports according to school guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure student success and goal achievement
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for comprehensive student support
• Serve as a resource on communication disorders for educational teams
