Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure as required for practice in Virginia
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting students’ academic and personal development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy in both individual and group formats
- Collaborate with educators and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and clinical requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to student support teams
- Support a positive clinic environment, engaging with colleagues to foster best practices
