School Speech Language Pathologist - Manassas, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience highly valued
• Skilled in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a passion for working with children and adolescents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language assessments for students with a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in classroom settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress reports, and required compliance
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
• Provide resources and strategies to staff and families for ongoing student support
