Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience highly valued
- Skilled in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a passion for working with children and adolescents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments for students with a range of communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in classroom settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, progress reports, and required compliance
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Provide resources and strategies to staff and families for ongoing student support
