Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure as required by the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Strong understanding of IEP documentation, assessment tools, and therapy techniques for speech/language disorders
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluation results and student needs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services in a school setting
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement effective intervention strategies
  • Track student progress, maintain timely documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as an advocate for students, promoting inclusive communication supports across classrooms
