Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in Prince William County as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment centers on making a meaningful difference in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge communities, with a set schedule running from August 17, 2026, through June 12, 2027. You'll work onsite, engaging directly with students and collaborating with a dedicated educational team in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Prior experience in a school setting is very beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working onsite at school locations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Document all sessions and maintain compliance with school policies and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise during multi-disciplinary discussions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
