Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and student progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
