Embark on a rewarding role supporting students’ communication skills in a dynamic school-based setting. We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for full-time, contract opportunities available immediately through the end of the school year. Contribute your expertise to students in K-5 at one campus and grades 6-12 at another, serving a manageable caseload of 5-7 students at each location.

Key Qualifications:

  • SLPA licensure or eligibility in Connecticut
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to work with diverse student populations across elementary and secondary levels

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision
  • Implement communication goals through evidence-based interventions
  • Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Support classroom teachers with strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging environment for student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP planning as needed
