We're seeking two passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide vital services in a K-2 setting, where you'll make a meaningful impact on students with Autism and significant communication needs.
This full-time contract role runs from August 2026 through June 2027, providing you with a consistent schedule of 32.5–37.5 hours per week. You'll work closely with classroom teams, including RBTs and paraprofessionals, supporting a caseload usually capped at 10 students per SLP. Many students use AAC devices, making experience with augmentative and alternative communication a plus.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure for SLPs or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies for supporting students with Autism spectrum disorders
- Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to K-2 students
- Assess communication needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, aides, RBTs, and families to support student progress
- Document interventions, progress notes, and provide timely reports
