Two Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for a full-time assignment from August 2026 through June 2027, working near Manchester, NH. In this engaging setting, you'll collaborate with educators and other professionals to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills.
Expect a manageable caseload, typically working closely with 10 or fewer students who are primarily diagnosed with Autism and often require augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. The supportive, collaborative atmosphere empowers you to implement best practices while growing your professional expertise.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold active state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience delivering services in school settings, with an understanding of K-12 environments
- Skilled in supporting students with Autism and implementing AAC strategies
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working with IEP teams and adapting to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Develop and adjust intervention plans based on ongoing student progress
- Facilitate the use of AAC devices and provide training/support to students and staff
- Engage in team meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration
