Support student communication and development by providing speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school setting. This contract-to-hire, part-time opportunity allows passionate professionals to make a meaningful impact on young learners in the Manchester, NH area. Deliver pediatric speech-language pathology services in person or through teletherapy, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Hold current state licensure and ASHA certification.
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs alike.
  • Prior experience in school environments is a plus, but eager new graduates are welcome.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with pediatric therapy practices in teletherapy or healthcare settings is valuable.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students as outlined by individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention to students, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive educational environment.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to ensure continuum of care.
  • May provide coaching or support to SLPA staff within the school or healthcare system.
