A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) seeking a contract position in a school setting in Manitou Springs, Colorado. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting the communication needs of students within a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Provide guidance and strategies to school staff to support effective communication interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
