An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to support a preschool caseload in a welcoming school environment near Manitou Springs, CO. This contract position offers consistent hours—37.5 hours per week—with workdays running either from 7:15am to 3:15pm or 7:45am to 3:45pm, ensuring a balanced and steady schedule. You’ll collaborate with another SLP onsite, so you’ll always have a peer for support as you provide essential services to young learners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate and assess communication and language skills of preschool students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy interventions
  • Deliver direct therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Manage a caseload of 40 to 60 students, tailoring strategies to meet diverse needs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall positive school atmosphere

Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Previous experience providing pediatric speech therapy, especially in a school setting, is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a team environment
