Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Colorado SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Clinical experience in pediatric settings, ideally within schools or similar environments
• Strong grasp of healthcare practices concerning speech/language development in children
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educational teams, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs and educational goals
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress, maintaining clear progress documentation
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support classroom integration
• Provide training and support for educational staff regarding speech/language needs
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding documentation and service delivery
