Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Manitou Springs, CO

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Experienced in school-based and pediatric environments
• Background delivering teletherapy services is a plus
• Current or eligible Colorado SLP license
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement effective IEP-based speech services

What You’ll Do:

• Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities to determine eligibility and service needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver therapy sessions—either in person or via teletherapy—based on student goals and evidence-based practices
• Provide screenings, evaluations, and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Maintain detailed records of services, responses, and progress
• Participate in team meetings to support student success and inclusion
• Offer consultation, training, and support to staff and families as needed
