Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
  • Relevant experience in pediatric settings, with a strong understanding of school-based therapy approaches
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and techniques
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for Colorado

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both in-person and virtual teletherapy formats as needed
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Consult and collaborate with educators and families to maximize support in both classroom and remote settings
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements for school-based SLP services
