Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage students individually
  • Effective communicator with staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for students
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 care, designing interventions that address students’ individual needs
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other educators to optimize student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely session notes, ensuring detailed records of student progress
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide consultative support and resources to teachers and families
