Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience serving school-aged children, preferably in elementary settings
  • Ability to provide compassionate 1:1 care and adapt to diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working alongside educators and other support staff
  • Detail-oriented and organized, particularly regarding documentation and session reporting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations for elementary students, identifying their abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions with a 1:1 approach, focusing on student-specific goals
  • Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special educators, and family members to maximize student progress
  • Maintain clear and accurate session notes and progress documentation in alignment with school and licensure requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development, sharing insights from evaluations and treatment sessions
