Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in the state of New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Competency in teletherapy platforms and technology, or willingness to train
- Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain organized and thorough documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
- Engage in periodic professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices
