This contract opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and offers a unique hybrid work schedule mixing both virtual and on-site responsibilities, provided you remain current on therapy and testing. What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based SLP services, pediatrics, or related healthcare roles
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65-70 students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key duties include:
- Conducting assessments, evaluations, and individualized treatment for students as part of an educational team
- Developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Providing direct therapy sessions, both virtually and on-site (hybrid: two virtual days, two in-person days)
- Maintaining timely documentation for all therapy, testing, and student interactions
- Supporting students across a wide range of language and speech needs, including bilingual learners
