Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required
  • Previous experience in a school setting and with direct therapy preferred
  • Must complete Texas fingerprinting requirements promptly if not already cleared
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week throughout the academic year
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Candidates must already hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence; supervision for Clinical Fellows is not available for this role

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with service plans
  • Deliver individualized and small group therapy sessions to support communication goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to tailor strategies for student success
  • Keep accurate records of progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Maintain compliance with state, district, and ethical guidelines at all times
