Step into an engaging opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this contract role, you’ll provide vital speech and language services while collaborating with a dedicated educational team, making an impactful difference for young learners.

This full-time position consists of 375 hours, serving a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students (with a maximum of 61) across kindergarten through eighth grade. You’ll have the autonomy to plan and facilitate individual and group sessions, conduct evaluations, write reports, and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s needs. Your work will play a key role in shaping positive communication outcomes for students of varying backgrounds and abilities.

Your background should include:

  • Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California SLP license (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to thrive as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy for K-8 students with varying levels of needs
  • Conducting initial assessments and re-evaluations
  • Developing and implementing targeted intervention plans
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
