Make a difference in students’ lives through skilled speech and language support in a dynamic school setting. We’re seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists—one for a full-time role and one for part-time—serving a caseload of approximately 30 students. Collaborate with an experienced team and have an impact on student growth and success every day.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education protocols
- Ability to provide both group and individual therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and observations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Complete progress reports and comprehensive documentation for IEPs
- Attend and lead IEP meetings, offering valuable insight into communication goals
- Participate in Student Study Team (SST) meetings as an integral team member
- Deliver direct speech and language services individually or in groups
- Develop appropriate intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student success
- Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for special education services
