This full-time, contract-based opening is suited for both experienced clinicians holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) as well as those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY). Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible California SLP license
- Current SLP-CCC or completion of academic and clinical requirements for SLP-CFY
- Prior experience with elementary-aged students preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for helping students overcome communication barriers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain progress records and communicate regularly with teachers and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for each student’s success
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support diverse student needs
