This full-time, contract-based opening is suited for both experienced clinicians holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) as well as those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY). You’ll make a measurable impact on young learners while further developing your expertise in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible California SLP license
  • Current SLP-CCC or completion of academic and clinical requirements for SLP-CFY
  • Prior experience with elementary-aged students preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for helping students overcome communication barriers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain progress records and communicate regularly with teachers and parents
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for each student’s success
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support diverse student needs
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment that promotes student achievement
