Make an impact on student development as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY professionals ready to bring their expertise to a dedicated caseload of approximately 50-60 students. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, aligning with the school calendar from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. School sites will be determined prior to assignment, offering diverse settings and collaborative teams.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and caseload management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to providing inclusive and individualized therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in group and individual settings
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports as required by district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
- Mentor and consult for SLP-CFY or support staff as needed
