Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students and collaborating with educators to enhance learning outcomes for the 2026-2027 school year. Your typical workday will run from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing you to build consistency with your students while maintaining a stable work-life balance. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with the school year beginning August 6th.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible California SLP licensure
- Valid California credential (or willingness and qualifications to obtain one)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, and recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Passion for supporting school-aged children in academic environments
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, assessment, and direct therapy to students on your caseload (typically 50-60)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, family members, and support staff on student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and state protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise
- Serve a variety of school sites (assignments to be determined)
