Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for California, or eligibility to obtain
- Open to ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) holders, as well as strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience with K-12 students in school settings desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and flexible in supporting students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student’s goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student achievement
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Attend meetings, provide progress updates, and actively participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Offer guidance, resources, and in-class support as needed
