Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license for California, or eligibility to obtain
  • Open to ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) holders, as well as strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Experience with K-12 students in school settings desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and flexible in supporting students of varying abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student’s goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student achievement
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Attend meetings, provide progress updates, and actively participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer guidance, resources, and in-class support as needed
