Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
• Experience in educational or pediatric settings is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with fellow educators and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student needs
• Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services
• Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions—both individual and group—within the school environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to multidisciplinary teams
• Educate and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff regarding communication disorders and recommended strategies
