Speech Language Pathologist in Maple Grove, MN

Make a meaningful difference in early childhood education by supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position centers on working with children aged 3-5 in an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) setting. Your expertise will help shape the communication skills and confidence of children in their formative years.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota SLP license required (present upon application)
• Proven experience in school-based or early childhood SLP roles preferred
• Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation for children ages 3-5
• Competent with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect SLP services to a caseload of early childhood students in accordance with IEP goals
• Evaluate and document student progress and needs, adapting therapy as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support holistic child development
• Participate in eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary planning sessions
• Maintain timely and accurate records, fulfilling district, state, and federal documentation requirements
• Contribute to a supportive, engaging learning environment that nurtures each child’s strengths and abilities
