Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity, working with students from PreK through 12th grade, starting August 10, 2026 and running through May 28, 2027. You’ll play a pivotal role in providing speech and language services for a diverse caseload of approximately 150 students. With a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.), you’ll have the time and structure to develop meaningful connections and deliver impactful interventions. In addition to direct student care, you’ll provide supervision for a dedicated team of three Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs), fostering collaboration and professional growth within your group. The caseload is varied, allowing you to flex both your clinical skills and leadership abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Proven leadership or supervisory background preferred
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload across PreK-12 populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Supervise, mentor, and support three Speech-Language Assistants
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-centered school environment
