Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in PreK-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Deliver therapy sessions—individually or in small groups—to address student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and guidance for students’ progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in line with school and regulatory requirements
- Educate and support teachers and families, offering strategies and tools for classroom integration and ongoing student growth
