Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience or genuine interest in providing school-based therapy to children and adolescents
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored for students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy in group and individual settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure holistic support
- Document progress and maintain detailed records for IEP compliance and monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Employ evidence-based practices and remain current with best practices in school-based therapy
