Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP license with prior experience in school settings
- Versatility in serving students from Pre K to 12th grade
- Familiarity with documentation platforms, especially Paddynet, is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to connect with parents, educators, and administrators
- Skilled in digital scheduling and coordination, particularly using Google Calendar for IEPs and meetings
- Proven ability to conduct and document evaluations, eligibility determinations, IEP development, and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite to students across designated grade ranges
- For compensatory services, travel between multiple school locations as needed; for site-based roles, support one school community
- Maintain caseloads ranging from 45-55 students, with clear organization and attention to each learner’s goals
- Accurately document services and student progress using school-approved systems
- Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative planning
- Ensure timely and thorough completion of evaluation and eligibility paperwork
- Provide summer services (June 1-June 30) as outlined for compensatory assignments
