Speech-Language Pathologist in Marion, IN

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed immediately to support an elementary school within a special education cooperative in the Muncie, IN area. This is a contract position for the current school year, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication development in an energetic, school-based setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 83 students
• Collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conducting assessments, progress monitoring, and reporting in compliance with school and state regulations
• Supporting students’ communication goals in both small groups and individual sessions
• Maintaining thorough documentation and participating in team meetings

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Experience working in an elementary school environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with staff
• Ability to work primarily in-person, contributing on-site at the designated elementary school
