A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available supporting students with special needs at an elementary school in Marion, Indiana. This position is contracted through a special education cooperative serving Delaware and Blackford counties. The role focuses on delivering direct speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 83 students, with a preference for in-person therapy sessions.
Location: Marion, IN (within Delaware/Blackford Special Ed Cooperative service area)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students in a school setting.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication goals.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress for students with speech and language needs.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant educational and therapy guidelines and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Willingness to work primarily in person at the designated elementary school.
