Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is essential.
  • Active state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum.
  • Complete assessments, write individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation compliant with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Deliver direct therapy, consult with classroom teachers, and provide resources for families.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed.
  • Support inclusion and advocate for students’ needs within the school community.
