Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience providing speech and language services within a school setting is highly valued
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop creative, individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using formal and informal assessment tools
  • Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned caseload
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support each student’s progress and ensure an inclusive learning environment
  • Document services, maintain accurate student records, and complete required reports in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
  • Educate and support school staff and families on strategies to promote student success
